Lighthouse Committee

The Lighthouse Committee is charged with the responsibility to assess, initiate, and monitor restoration projects and maintenance for the lighthouse as well as all other aspects of the towns responsibilities for the Isle au Haut Lighthouse. The Lighthouse Committee serves under the selectboard, keeping them advised of ongoing activities and getting approval of all projects. The Friends of Isle au Haut Lighthouse are responsible for raising the funds needed for restoration and maintenance. The town maintains a separate account for all lighthouse funds.
